Terus pertanyaannya adalah, Kenapa Jumlah Wire dalam Strand Wire Rope bervariasi (6x7, 6x12, 6x24, 6x29, 6x36) ? Kok ga satu jenis konstruksi aja.?

Pertama, Bahas Efek Jumlah Wire terhadap Ukuran Wire dalam Strand. Semakin banyak jumlah Wire dalam Strand, membuat diameter Individual Wire menjadi semakin kecil. Karena tidak mungkin jika semakin banyak jumlah wire rope tetapi ukuran dari wire itu sendiri gede-gede.. Kalo disambung ya pastinya ukuran wire rope jadi sangat besar.

 

Nah besar kecilnya ukuran wire rope nantinya akan membuat tingkat kelenturan dari wire rope itu berbeda-beda. Tentunya wire dengan diameter yang kecil-kecil akan membuat wire rope semakin lentur. Tetapi ukuran diameter wire dengan konstruksi yang lebih kecil pastinya akan lebih tebal dan membuat wire rope lebih kaku.

 

Jadi disini bisa dikategorikan sesuai dengan penggunaan kalian nantinya. Wire rope yang lentur sangat cocok untuk jenis pengangkatan yang menggunakan katrol roll. Sedangkan wire rope yang kaku lebih cocok untuk pengangkatan lurus karena ga boleh tertetuk.
